Tim is fortunate to have led an interesting life with a wide breadth of experiences.

Tim’s love of performing started in Kindergarten, when he played the Ringmaster in a circus show produced by the students. He performed in local and regional theatre, and sang in numerous choirs, until the age of 15, when he began working in New York City as an actor-singer. He obtained SAG and AFTRA membership, and performed in dozens of television commercials, voice overs, several independent films and TV pilots. As “Liam Smith”, Tim was signed with the J. Michael Bloom agency.
A lover of music, Tim was singing before school age. He studied voice privately and has a wide range of vocal experience, including #1 Tenor in the New Jersey All State Chorus, performing with the New Jersey State Opera, State Repertory Opera of New Jersey, The Celtic Theatre Company, Kravitz Musical Theatre, Yates Family Theatre, and night clubs. Tim’s talents extend to filmmaking, where he won the 1980 New Jersey Young Filmmakers Festival with an anti-drug perspective exercise that still has relevance today.
Tim made the hard decision not to continue performing full-time in 1985, and instead became a leader in the financial services industry, building the second largest company in the country in his market niche. He also was a Councilman and Mayor in Roxbury Township; founder of the Government Efficiency Movement; and author of political columns for the New Jersey Hills newspaper chain.
Despite Tim's change in full time career, he continued to perform from New Jersey to Boston. Since 1992, starting with his one man show "John McCormack: His Life in Song and Story", Tim has specialized in the classical Irish Tenor style. This was followed by the thematically-driven "Reflections: Ireland in Song and Story", and finally the simple passion of "Love and Longing."
In 2018, Tim decided to go back into performing. He created a new one man show, "From Erin to Broadway", as a springboard back to the theatrical and sacred music he loves so much. He also played the role of Bert Healy in a 2018 regional theatre production of “Annie”. In 2019 he recorded the single "Spread Your Wings" for his daughter's wedding. In 2020, with "There's Still Time", Tim has completed his journey to provide uplifting and inspirational programming with music from a variety of genres from the 60s to today. He now plans to spend more time on the stage, doing what he loves most.
Enjoy the music of "Spread Your Wings", written and recorded by Tim for his daughter's wedding.
